1.Do I qualify for a Ndepana loan?

If you're a refugee entrepreneur running an active business inside the camp—like a food stall, tailoring shop, hair salon, kiosk, or phone repair service—you may qualify for a Ndepana loan. Your business should be at least 6 months old, with regular daily activity. You’ll need a valid refugee ID (such as a UNHCR card) and access to a mobile phone for USDC transactions.

2.What do I need to apply for a Ndepana loan?

To apply for a Ndepana loan, you’ll need: - A refugee ID, such as a UNHCR card or recognized proof of refugee status - A mobile phone (smartphone ) - A photo of you at your business location - Photos of your business(inside and outside, if possible) - Proof your business has been active for at least 6 months - Business signpost (if available) - Receipts or sales records (for returning borrowers)

3.How do I apply for a Ndepana loan?

4.How much do I qualify for?

Start with a loan of 50 USDC – 100 USDC tailored to your business size. Keep up good repayment habits, and over time your limit could grow—first to 3000 USDC!

5.What is the loan term?

We currently offer flexible terms of 15, 30, 45, and 60 days, even on your first loan. 6.What are your interest rates? Interest ranges from 13% to 25% for one month, based on your credit profile. These rates may reduce as you build a solid repayment history.

7.How do I increase my loan limit?

Record daily business sales, purchases, and expenses in the app Make partial payments whenever possible Repay your loan on time This helps us better understand your business and increase your limit.

8.How do I check my loan status?

In the app, your loan application may show as: .Submitted – application completed .Verifying – Ndepana has received your application .Reviewing – a loan officer will contact you .Approved – loan approved .Dismissed – application declined with reason

9.How do I repay Ndepana loan?

📲 Repay through your mobile wallet When it’s time to repay, you’ll receive a reminder with the amount and deadline. 💸 Pay in USDC Repayments are made in USDC using the Circle-powered wallet you received your loan in. ⏱ Stay on schedule Timely repayment helps grow your credit limit and builds trust. 10.What happens if I pay late?

Late payments attract daily penalty fees on the outstanding balance, starting one day after the due date. Please make partial payments if you can, and contact your credit officer to work out a payment plan.



11.How do I check my loan payment?

Option 1: Uninstall and reinstall the app, then reapply with the correct info. Option 2: Go to MORE > SETTINGS > ACCOUNT, update your details, and tap SAVE ACCOUNT. For faster help, contact us on WhatsApp: +250788667664.

12.What happens if I pay late?

Please note that there are late penalty fees on the outstanding balance if you are unable to clear your loan on time. This is why we encourage clients to make a partial payment to reduce the balance. Penalty fees start being charged the next day after the loan is due and every day there is an outstanding balance.

13.How do I resubmit required documents?

Open the app → Home Page Tap Update Follow prompts to take and upload the required photos Ensure all images are clear and taken live (no gallery uploads)

14.Can I use photos from my gallery?

Start your application whenever you're ready—even from home! Download the Ndepana App and begin your application. You can pause at any point and return later—especially helpful if you’re not yet at your business. Head to your business, reopen the app, continue where you left off, and complete your application, including taking valid on‑site photos. We’ll contact you within 24–72 hours.

15.I’m not at my business premises. What should I do?

You must be physically present at your business location to take the required photos. Please return when you are at your premises to complete your application.

16.I’m not receiving a verification code

17.How do I refresh the App?

On the app’s Home Screen, tap the Refresh button at the top right. If it fails, check your internet connection and try again.

18.I want to start a new business. Can I apply?

Ndepana only gives loans to existing businesses that have been operating for at least 6 months. We hope to serve you in the future once your business is up and running.

19.How do I re-apply for a loan?

Open the app and refresh on the home screen Select Apply for Loan Complete the application—we’ll be in touch shortly!

20.I have an iPhone—can I still apply?

Currently, the Ndepana App is only available on Android devices. Please try again when you have access to an Android phone.
